Shane & Shannon Jensen

Shane and Shannon Jensen are part of the new generation of American ballroom dancers who have created a unique partnership that has won them prominence throughout the United States and Europe. Shane and Shannon met in Provo, Utah at Brigham Young University where they were members of the World renowned BYU Ballroom Dance Company. While completing their education, Shane and Shannon competed and performed in all ballroom styles including cabaret. Having turned professional in fall of 2012 they moved to Stamford, Connecticut to pursue their career teaching, competing, and performing. Since that time, they have enjoyed great success. Their accomplishments include:

• Current United States National Rising Star Professional Rhythm Champions
• Two-time United States National Theater Arts Champions
• World Cabaret Champions
• Two time Ohio Star Ball Cabaret Champions
• Ohio Star Ball Open Professional Rhythm Finalists
• Two time cabaret finalists at the British Open Championships in Blackpool, England

In addition to remarkable talent, they are both regarded as excellent instructors. Teaching for the Metropolitan Dance Center in Stamford, they are well versed, teaching all styles and are DVIDA certified. They enjoy the opportunity to share their talents and the joy of dance with others. Shane and Shannon believe participation in ballroom and Latin dance can be a richly rewarding experience.

Their greatest joy comes from teaching and supporting their students as they progress in developing their individual talents.
